Vice President's Weekly Community Center Progress Report "Positive Links" BUDDY PROGRAM LAUNCHED - The NWA GLBT Community Center is proud to announce our first support service for NW Arkansas. In tandem with the efforts of our HIV/AIDS Advocate, Chris Hannon we are announcing the launch of the "NWA Positive Links" Buddy Program and Discussion Group for people living with HIV/AIDS or other life threatening illness to network, socialize, and converse with each other about the day to day issues of living with HIV/AIDS. This is a Peer to Peer support system, meaning those with the illness will be helping others with the illness. Services offered through the program will gradually be added as membership grows and needs arise. For more details go to our HIV/AIDS Current News page or to enroll in our discussion group go to our Discussion Forums. Enrollment is limited to those diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. Register for a NWA GLBT Community Center Discussion Forum account then send an email to Chris Hannon to be added to the private NWA GLBT Positive Links discussion board. Those without internet access may send US Postal Mail to the above NWA GLBT Community Center address and add ATTN: Chris Hannon to the address.
